Our Finance Practice Leader, Dr. Gift Kimonge Dzombo is a versatile, results driven, and experienced Financial Advisory, Audit and Risk Assurance, Commercial Banker and Inclusive Finance Specialist with 20 years’ experience working in financial services, government parastatals, investor corporate, and universities. Dr. Dzombo has attained a PhD in Finance and MBA in Finance from Kenyatta University, Kenya and is also CPA-K qualified and member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants Kenya (ICPAK), Institute of Corporate Governance of Kenya (ICGK) and Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). ​

​Dr. Dzombo has been involved in Financial Planning and Reporting, Audit, Risk, and Governance, in the financial services sector in Kenya, has taught in universities and has also consulted widely in the private and public sector and leading development cooperation and private equity agencies such as Private Finance, Advisory Network (PFAN), Kenya Climate Innovation Centre (KCIC), USAID, East Africa Community and Lake Basin Development. He has also held several Board positions in Kenya including Council Member at Technical University of Mombasa (TUM), and Pwani University. He is also serving as member of Audit Committee at National Police Service Commission (NPSC) and Office of the Attorney General and Department of Justice.
