Our Senior Practice Leader, Dr. Bwire is a management and leadership professional with over 20 years’ cross-cutting experience in private and public sectors, and academia. He is a trainer and researcher with several papers/articles presented and published in international conferences/seminars and peer reviewed journals respectively; versatile and dynamic business development specialist; and seasoned banker with specialty in fund management. He has also consulted widely on top management teams, corporate strategy and governance, organizational structure, performance, to mention just but a few.

He is currently serving as Governing Council Member and Chairman of Audit, Governance, Risk Assurance, and Compliance Committee of Kaimosi Friends University. Dr. Bwire serves as the Chairman, Board of Directors – Oasis Specialist Hospital Ltd. He is a former Governing Council Member and Chairman – Audit, Risk, and Compliance Committee; Member – Finance, Planning & General Purposes Committee; Member – Sealing & Statutes Committee of the Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) and Non-Executive Director, Technical University of Mombasa Enterprises Ltd (TUMEL).

Dr. Bwire holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi; Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Egerton University; and Bachelor of Arts (Economics Major) from the University of Nairobi. Additionally, he is fully trained and skilled in drafting grant proposals and won the National Research Fund grant for his PhD research work. He is a member of the Academy of Management (AOM – Strategic Management and Management Consulting Divisions) New York, USA; Africa Academy of Management (AFAM); Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Kenya Chapter; and Institute of Corporate Governance of Kenya (ICGK).
